Wooldings is very proud of our selection of fine English wines and invites you to try some for yourself! Purchases can be made through our secure ordering service in multiples of six bottles of any mix. Order twelve bottles or more for special discount rates!

Sparkling Brut 1994
82% Pinot Noir, 10% Chardonnay, 4% Pinot Meunier Fresh lemon and yeasty aromas are followed by a ripe, citrus fruit palate and a clean finish. The flavours have been enhanced by fours years of aging on the lees. Winner of a Bronze Medal at the International Wine Challenge.

Dry 1993
71% Madeleine Angevine, 29% Reichensteiner
This dry white exhibits a crisp character with well-balanced acid. A full mouthful leads to a lemon and apple finish. This seven-year-old wine is fresh and goes well with delicate foods. Winner of a Seal of Approval at the International Wine Challenge.

55% Madeleine Augevine, 25% Reichensteiner, 20% Seyval
Hints of orange and sweet oak complement this moderately dry white wine. The palate exhibits excellent integration of the oak and fruit flavours. Her Majesty enjoyed this wine and served it in France to the French! Winner of a Seal of Approval at the International Wine Challenge.

Dry 1995
A blend of six of our best cuvees has resulted in a fairly dry white wine. The palate exhibits a hint of oak with a delicious fruity backbone. An excellent accompaniment to rich and saucy foods.

This white wine is lively and appealing, with fresh youthful flavours. A hint of gooseberry coupled with a clean, slightly spritzy palate makes our Bacchus an excellent wine.

Lightly Oaked Dry 1996
68% Madeleine Angevine, 32% Reichensteiner
Subtle citrus fruit on the nose leads to a slatey palate with a pleasant finish. This wine has a very appealing combination of oak and grape flavours with superb integration. Winner of a Seal of Approval at the International Wine Challenge.

65% Madeleine Angevine, 28% Reichensteiner, 7% Seyval
One of our most successful wines yet. This white wine offers a good portion of fruit flavours, nice intensity, and a very well balanced structure. Winner of a Seal of Approval at the International Wine Challenge.

Medium Dry
This white wine starts with a fresh and fragrant nose and exhibits a lovely rounded sensation in the mouth. The finish is long and pleasant with a hint of tropical fruit.

A superb rubine colour, this wine has a fresh cherry nose that leads to an off dry flavour that integrates well with the subtle tannins. Our Rosé is an excellent choice to accompany light foods.

Red 1999
Recently released after nine months in oak barriques, this wine has superb berry flavours that are well integrated with oak. An excellent choice for the cellar, this wine will add complexity over five to ten years. Unfortunately, very limited amounts available.

Pinot Noir 1997
This Pinot Noir is light and fairly closed, with superb varietal characters not compromised by excessive smoothness. Aged for eighteen months in three-year-old French oak barriques, this wine is both charming and approachable.
