QUALIFICATIONS

I have created graphic designs and original art for Fortune 500 companies as well as local businesses and individuals. I've worked in the fields of pre-press, editorial illustration, comics and web design.

I have certain specific expertise with regard to web design. Beyond the superficial look and interactivity of a web page, I have a unique experience and understanding of how to optimize a site's performance to connect with a target audience. The bells and whistles of a site can be fun, but I am a designer who focuses on getting a page to function under the hood first. After all, a website only serves its purpose when it finds an audience with the right users.

I was directly involved in a number of high profile projects for HSD. I collaborated on design and layout, and developed a solid base of experience in prepress design, working from templates and style sheets, dealing with fonts/type, and seeing projects through to final print-output.
